Sam’s Life till the End

My character Sam Italus was originally Cerberus before splitting apart. Her parents were two great monsters who lost themselves in the previous war with the Gods. Now she was confided to Hade's quarters. Until on a faithful day when Olympus had fallen, and Christianity took over. Her imprisonment changed from Hades to Satan. Her freedom began when she meets Lilith for the first time separating from her siblings.
Sam is Lilith's partner in crime. Sam previously had two different owners which were Hades and Satan. After the Great War amongst the gods, Hades lost Cerberus in the fray. She'd broken her chains and escaped to Hell where Satan resides. Satan welcomed her with open and she transformed along with her sister into a less dominant form. Her dragon tail and green smog were much more interesting than a three-headed hellhound. After a few centuries, the sisters began bickering amongst themselves and Sam couldn't withstand the stress anymore. Hades physically tortured them, Satan mentally damaged them, and the fragments of the three sisters' souls were darkened. Sam decided to leave her sister behind to find a better life on Earth. Sam was then reincarnated as a hyena pup being born from a dying mother. Lilith found her, bloody and beaten, then asked her if she wanted to be her friend.
For the first time, Sam saw nothing behind Lilith's dead eyes and knew somehow, she was going to be the one to save her. Sam never ran away from Death and knew at the end of it all, the God of Death will accept her, with open arms and she'll finally begin to rest.
My adaptation changes the myth because Greek mythology is crossing over into Christianity religion. A character can only develop over time and lived since the dawn of man and Gods into the present day. I made the changes to make an interesting story. Cerberus is a powerful deity who is defeated by Hercules. My story takes place where Sam never encounters Hercules and stays as a pet to Hades until she meets my original character Lilith Italus. She takes Lilith’s last name because she considers her family.
Sam is a companion to Lilith. She helps Lilith with missions, cleaning their clothes, cooking dinner, and holding Lilith’s interests in high regard. I wanted to show how Sam was in different forms with each of her masters. Hades controlled her like a monster, Satan loved her like a woman while Lilith relies on her like a partner. Each transformation was for Sam herself because she didn't know who she was for the longest of times. Decades matter a fact. Lilith's quest has opened Sam's eyes to new possibilities of who she is. In the end, Sam comes to accept that they are all equal in the eyes of Death. When her time finally comes, she will accept that she is a deity and die free in Lilith's arms. Her passion to serve will end and she can finally be free.
